THEY WANT TO KNOW WHO ORDERED OFFICERS TO CREATE ROADBLOCKS AND TELL PEOPLE TO GO BACK TO THE BURNING AREAS!
Title 18, U.S.C., Section 242 is a provision of the federal criminal code that makes it a crime for government officials, including law enforcement officers, to subject any person to a deprivation of federally protected rights or impose different punishments based on a person’s race. Whoever, under color of any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom, willfully subjects any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States, shall be fined or imprisoned.
Section 242 of Title 18 is a federal statute that makes it a crime for any person acting under color of law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom to willfully deprive or cause to be deprived from any person those rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution and laws of the United States. The punishment for violating this section includes a fine, imprisonment, or both. The severity of the punishment depends on the nature of the violation and its consequences.
When two or more individuals plan or agree to commit a crime, or commit a crime, they are guilty of criminal conspiracy.
